The Nepal Tech Community is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. This code outlines our expectations for behavior for all members, executives, sub-community captains, and event participants.

Scope & Applicability

This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals involved with the Nepal Tech Community, including:

  • Executive Team Members
  • Sub-community Captains
  • General Members
  • Event Participants & Guests

Be Respectful

We expect everyone to treat each other with respect. This includes respecting differences in opinion, background, and experience. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.

  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted attention
  • Cyberbullying or online harassment
  • Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability

Inclusivity & Responsibility

We welcome all individuals regardless of their background. We are committed to creating a space where everyone feels comfortable. All individuals are responsible for their own actions and must behave in a safe, professional manner during all community activities.

Neutrality & Fairness

Stay Neutral and Fair to all. To ensure a fair and non-partisan environment, all members, especially executives and captains, must refrain from political engagement or union activities within the community context.

Institutional Compliance

Every participant must follow the rules and guidelines of Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), as well as the community's own constitution and policies.

Reporting Violations

If you see or experience any behavior that violates this code, please report it to a member of the NTK leadership team immediately.

Enforcement

The NTK executive team reserves the right to remove any individual from community activities or membership if they violate these standards.
